Hi to all, I just installed Audiophile Linux V3.1 but I can’t install my HiFace EVO (first edition).
I understand that the instruction for the V2 are no more right because it is changed the base linux from mint to arch, so the apt-get command didn’t exist any more.
So what can I do?
I ask to M2Tech and they reply to me:
“Hello, I’m sorry but I think your linux distribution doesn’t include driver for the old Evo. Are you able to compile the kernel? Actually it is already part of the mainline in most of the linux distribution, but there is a github with the source code, but I don’t have the link.”
Sorry for my bad translation of the mail 🙁
I think that they are referring to this:
There is someone that could help me to compile the kernel?
Has any progress been made in compiling the module for M2TECH DACs?
