I installed AP Linux. But, after system boots I see my display is broken. I could properly see Syslinux menus. I believe this is occurring because of proper graphics driver missing. I’m using ATI R7 240 GPU. I’ve uploaded the image. This is the link http://imgur.com/a/tOny9
on boot, use noacpi or nomodeset or xforcevesa
I had the same problem as rhalder. Thanks to r_p the video was fine after using nomodeset on boot. However, I still cannot find a permanent solution to fix the graphic. I search around on-line but do not find the right solution or something comprehensible to me. I am new to linux and AP Linux. Can anyone points me to the way to
(1) fix the graphic problem permanently, or
(2) change the boot parameter (so that I do not need to intervene the booting process)
I a running AP Linux on Dell XPA M1330 laptop. Display adapter is Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family [Display adapter] (2x)
